Ive been looking at buying a Ford Fiesta Titanium for the last couple of weeks. Does anyone have experience with Ford Direct used cars? There is a 2017 titanium with 672 miles available that is about 5000 pounds cheaper than a new titanium with the same specs. Is it worth spending the extra 5 grand and making sure that I get a brand new car or is the approved used Ford Direct a better option?
Thanks for the help!
Hi Rui. A year-old used Fiesta should be at least £5K cheaper than an equivalent new version. The mileage is very low, which is nice, but doesn’t make it significantly more valuable than a car with 6,000 miles on it.
There’s no right or wrong choice, simply what’s right for you. If you’re financing the car, be aware that you probably won’t get the same sort of deal that you would on a brand-new car – so a car that looks 20% cheaper might not have monthly payments that are anywhere near 20% less.
