I have the chance to upgrade my 1.0L Kia Picanto to a 1.25L model. I will be doing more motorway driving now at weekends and wondered if this would be better suited to it. Does anyone know if it would be better than the 1.0L and if it’s worth it.

It will depend on how you drive, the sort of loads you are carrying and whether you fee there is sufficient difference. You should test drive the larger-engine model on the sort of roads you will be using and decide whether you think the difference is justified – it really is different for every driver.

I have the same query as Mrs. S.
I am planing to buy a second hand car for job purposes with a budget no more than £6000.
I will be driving mainly in motorways and doing around 100 miles a day.
I have been looking at different options and came across the Seat Leon and Vauxhall Astra so I was wondering if you could give me your thoughts about those cars or if there are any other cars that you would you recommend.
