I have ordered and paid (40 days ago) a new LHD car to be exported from UK to Switzerland.
The car is still new and unused with the dealer for the following reason:
This car happens to be under euro6w norm and as not been registered before Sept.1, 2018.
As per the new EU norms, euro6w cars cannot be registered anywhere in EU (including Switzerland) after Aug.31 2018, unless is has been derogated.
The official derogation document (must be issued by the UK authorities – not the manufacturer) requested by the Swiss authorities was not provided by my car dealer yet. The dealer does not answer to my requests anymore.
What are my rights since I will never accept a car that cannot be registered. Full refund ? Any recommended next steps.
    Thanks for your support.

Hi Laurent. I think you’re going to need to get some legal advice on this one, as it is probably more complicated than a straight UK sale to a UK customer.
